Japanese Base Charizard Colour Difference?

So, I own a hand full of japanese base Charizards and one of them (left/upper one on the picture) just sticks out, the red is more intense than any other base zard or (re)print in japanese/german I own, although not as much as english shadowless 1st ed, of course.
Did this charizard feast upon the UV light, thus increasing his power level, unlike other cards that loose colour? :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I guess my actual question would be: Is it common for cards to vary in print consistency like that, esp. back then (I know that’s a thing with sports cards) or is this some previously documented, consistent variation in printing?

This is my first post so 1. Hi everyone and 2. please pardon any mistakes

I’ve got some Japanese base bulk I was going through tonight and noticed varying colors. Some of the grays in the Trainers looked almost brown. I’m sure the variation you’re noticing isn’t unheard of, but I can’t say what caused it.

Thanks, good to know it’s noticable with other cards aswell.
