Here’s another copy that turned up on Kathryn Newton’s Instagram on August 25, 2018, 6:29 am. It’s signed by Tsunekazu Ishihara himself. Now guess who’s playing the role of Lucy in the upcoming Pokémon Detective Pikachu (2019) movie? You got it! It’s Kathryn Newton! One of the rumours going around is that copies of the Ishihara GX cards were distributed during the TPCi staff dinner in Nashville, Tennessee back in August 2018. That actually lines up very nicely with Kathryn Newton’s Instagram post dating back to the end of that very month.

Anybody have an idea how it was possible to convince PSA to grade this card? PSA don‘t grade any cards tht were not officially released… is there some sort of officia source regarding the card?

To be fair I don’t hold much stock in PSA’s Poke research team, I’m looking at you no damage Ninetales, no rarity Raichu, no rarity Venusaur etc. Maybe we should get old Mike Cressey to whip up an article for the above cards we may finally be in business.
