No one ever talks about togetic 
. And I’m not sure if we’ll ever get an actual hyper rare or anything for togetic now that the abomination togekiss exists. I’d kill for a character rare togetic, I mean look how cute she is!!

@wooltchi, Togetic is super cute – I think you’re right though… it’s super unappreciated, since Togepi and Togekiss usually get all the attention.
What rubs you the wrong way about Togekiss (it just looks like a plumper version of Togetic, yes?), and why is Togetic your favorite stage?

Togepi is pretty cute but togetic stood out more to me as a kid. I’ve had the neo genesis togetic card since I was a kid and generally like the cute cards more than the cool looking cards.

I always thought Togekiss’ design was a little uninspired… they just made it look more fat and gave it bigger wings
Aron was part of my first team im Sapphire, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it I guess!
But also I love that this cute round steel turtle-thingy feasts on anything made of metal 
I mean just look at it literally eating someone’s car:

Shuckle is my favorite. Despite being in Gen 2 he has only ever had one plush and 20 cards in around 20 years so yeah…its a bit unloved. He didnt even get a shiny GX in Hidden Fates.

Thank you. Certainly in some ways yeah. In others, he has so many qualities that are his alone too. Hes been my favorite since the old days before the memes like Dorkly and such. That being said, every Shuckle meme like that does bring a smile to my face and gives me hope that he will get more cards and such. This is the painting I have in my living room.

Golduck may very well be the most underrated Water-type of all-time. Balanced stats and a good movepool.

Seems like Voltorb and Electrode are actually unpopular. Except in Japan. For whatever reason, Electrode seems to get love there. Those two are some of the most frequently printed Pokemon in the TCG as well.

Explains why Electrode was oddly in the Jungle set. Easily one of the most misplaced Pokemon in the WOTC era.
Manaphy is my favorite Pokemon and I feel like it’s incredibly underrated due in part to how it was obtained originally in the video games. My friend drew this amazing picture of me as a 10 year old trainer with a Manaphy in the old school Sugimori style as a gift, so I was incredibly excited when BDSP came out that I could play through the game with Manaphy as my main partner.
