Any of the options represents my case ā¦
- Iāve to admit that Play! Promos are amazing ā¦ but, personally I prefer T Promos
- For the reason previously mentioned, I canāt choose the second alternative (related to Vending Machine Series)
- I donāt consider ex era as bad and Play! Promos as mid ā¦
- āToo commonā is not the phrase I would use to describe Play! Promos
- I find Play! Promos more interesting than WoTC Promos ā¦ (with this Iām not saying WoTC is bad ā¦ They have interesting cards as well)

there are too many others to mention. T promos, tropical mega battle, (other e reader era promo groupings like Web), old corocoro promos, old fan club, daisuki club, tropical beaches throughout the years, champions festivals throughout the years, and iām sure there are other notable groupings of promos that could have been mentioned and are probably someoneās favorite.

Definitely a thoughtful release! The Mew EX is my personal favorite. It reminds me of Mew in Pokemon Snap!
Also I remember not buying a full set, with all the gold stars, for around $1700.

I donāt collect this set, but obviously am a (PokĆ©mon card) fan of one of the cards in particularā¦
Too late for my personal interests as a set (do the unnumbered old backs count?), but my Komiya collection meant I stopped here on the journey.

Yes! Now I canāt remember if it was $1700 or $2300. Either way it was an insanely cheap price.

It was actually an ebay auction I won back in 2011 and then spoke to the seller privately, but I canāt see any of the card details since the auction expired. 
Anyway while digging I found this purchase from 2008 for a sealed Mew EX! I still have that card in a binder:

Nah grading was much of a thing back then, especially players promos. But itās been in a binder for 15 years so the plastic wrap might have made an indent.

I love it, as itās a great balance of bling, uniqueness, and availability. I also have nostalgia, as itās the first JP promo set that I stumbled upon and wanted badly.
