Hi there, im a new member and this is my first threat. I have a question, Below are list of my goldstar, shining, and crystal. Is it really worth to grade all of the or only a few of them? If there is rule that i accidentaly broken, please let me now. Thx and cheers
i think i know who you are (: good to see you on the forum!
fyi e4…this guy is someone i bumped into in my local community. his collection is insane (I’ve seen them, he has much more than the above) but he had minimal knowledge of the true value of his collection, so I asked him to come join the forum and learn from the collectors here. He is not a troll for sure.
btw, maybe you would like to post pics for the collectors here to give a better view. In psa grading, condition is everything.
Hi there!!!.. If my collection is insane, how about yours? Beyond insane!!!.. lol… how to upload picture here? thx once again for ur help. Now im just wait for other to responds my question.
Welcome to e4! All of those are worth grading depending on the condition, so images will help. Here’s how to add images www.elitefourum.com/t/add-images/18669/1
As for the skyridge set its dependent on condition, grade for holos that are 9 or 10 grades and I think for non holos only if you want the entire set graded for a personal collection. For value only 10 candidates.
I would personally grade all the cards listed above regardless of condition. Some are more worth it than others, but a lot of these cards have good value even in PSA 6 so it’s worth it IMO.
I would keep the Skyridge set as is, but as others said if certain holos look to be absolutely flawless it might be worth it to have them graded.
There’s no way for us to judge condition from these pictures. In your opinion, is everything about Near Mint or better? Very nice collection.
@sgbased Did you see these cards in person? Perhaps you’d have a better idea of what he has.
I still think you should grade all of the gold stars/shinings/crystals, except if they’re damaged or have a crease. A lot of these cards even in lower grades of 6-7 are worth decent money, but if you get some of the big cards in 9-10, it’s pretty much going to pay for your entire submission.
Nah didn’t see it in person, he was looking to sell everything as bulk tho and adviced him not to in order to extract more value for his collection. He’s a set collector and seemed pretty careful with his cards so I proposed he grade the best ones to sell individually
