International Shipments into PWCC Vault

Hey guys

I’m planning to ship some high value items into PWCC vault, and wanted to ask how do you do it when youre shipping from internationally?

A few questions I would appreciate the experienced’s insight:

  1. If i bought an item in Europe for 20k usd, and the item is shipped to the PWCC vault with full value declared, are there any import taxes I need to pay?
  2. How do you ship super high value items cross border to pwcc vault? like USD100k+ packages. I’ve read some posts prior in the forum, seems like most ship it by declaring it a low value and do it via Fedex International Priority?

I don’t know about import tax, but FedEx IP works great. Zero issues so far from SG & always on time.

Note that you’d have to use third party insurers if you want insurance. There’s literally no courier in SG that can help you insure 100k USD. Third party is the only way. FedEx only insures up to 1k USD. Else, yes I suggest to declare low & send them in batches so the potential losses gets divided.

Also, try not to use your own packaging. If you don’t have FedEx supplies, request for them. Using the FedEx packaging & pouches eases the process & reduces any potential issues.
