One of the hardest tierlist to make, at least for me.
A lot of these art, like the Hypno or Aquapolis Umbreon, have detailed backgrounds and I actually prefer non holo versions.
Saitou art works well with the holo pattern (kinda like stock sugimori does), but can sometimes be a little bland considering the absurd level of this era.
The only card that I consider bad are those in E and F tiers: anatomical or cgi abomination. Even D is pretty good.
Iām very fond of them all but iām still glad it ended up quite naturally showing both my top 8 and bottom 8, so many other cards could have moved in other tier another day but i think those cards have permanent spots
Zapdos is an interesting pic. I got it in a lot last week so ill see for myself I guess
I donāt think thereās a single terrible e-series holo art and D and E are mostly interchangeable for me.
Some S tier cards could be SSS on a different day but Hypno for me is one of the few that shines above every other card. Compositionally, story, and colors knock it out of the park. Also wanted to add that Golem doesnāt get a lot of love but I personally love how close itās cropped. With Kusubeās gritty hatching it makes Golem feel like it just got smacked and is about to unleash hell.
