He doesn’t have the é anymore. The accent in Poke is what is being flagged I believe.

So my name is joervintagepokemon on IG but I post once per month. Will joervintagepkmn be okay?
This kinda sucks, so hopefully it will not expand to YouTube. Not just for me but the names I recognize!
Edit: I see “thepokejew” is still on IG and he posts nonstop. Odd that he did not get banned.

pokegirlrach gone, 70k followers. Maybe it’s not the name, maybe it’s dodgy moderation - but do you really want to risk it?

Just as a reference point, my account had Pokémon in the name and didn’t get banned. I pretty much never use it and it doesn’t even have 100 followers though.

PKMN is an abbreviation. I’ve searched for this on Japanese and US trademarks and nothing comes up.
My username Qwachansey was officially approved by Pokémon years ago. Back in high school I was a beta tester for PTCGO and was able to get the username Chansey. Eventually TPCI made me change my in-game screen name to Qwachansey which they confirmed was acceptable, but they let me keep the Chansey username.
If I get banned I’m bringing receipts… Been 15+ years with this username and I hate change.

So pokichloe is gone. 3 letters of pokemon in there. Imagine 2 or 1 letters only and still getting banned lol.
We could do with a full list of banned members to compare.

Watched the rattle vid on this.
Everyone check their IG accounts and see if anyone not related to pokemon in their username has also gone. With enough of us looking we will know if it’s just pokemon or others aswell. I’ve loads that aren’t pokemon related and none have gone. Only pokemon is affected on mine.
One of my IGs is totally pokemon related, but I’m still there…
