Import tax for cards?

There is a card I am looking to buy that is in Singapore. I have done some research and it is kind of confusing. I believe this falls under the 950440 code which says there is no charge. I just want to be sure as I am new to collecting and overseas purchases. Thanks!

Where are you based?

Im in the US.

I don’t think US has any customs. Never heard of anyone paying customs. However some states might have a different rule/system

Alright I did some research and I don’t believe there is a customs charge. I also remembered I got some cards in from Australia and had no problems. I will update when I get the card in but I’m sure it’s fine.

I have recently imported some expensive cards from overseas. You are correct the is no customs fee in the USA that needs to be paid on 99504.40 items. However if the declared amount is over $2,000 you will need to supply declaration paperwork and US tax forms (a 1040 for an individual) to get the package cleared through customs. If the package is delivered with a mainstream service (ie: Fedex International) the carrier will provide a broker to help get the package through customs and will charge you for that, usually about $50-150 depending on the declaration amount. Other than that there are no fees or taxes, a perk of the USA! Hope this helps.
