If you had $3,000 to spend, how would you use it?

I know this is a pretty subjective question, so I’m asking for your opinion as if you were in the situation I’m about to describe.
If you had $3,000 to spend for Pokemon cards, how would you use it?

Put it in a Roth IRA

Not an exciting answer but I wouldn’t buy anything rn. If I had to I’d probably target wotc holos that haven’t had an insane pump.

Not reveal what I would spend it on as whatever card I mention here will probably be the next one to get pumped.

Assuming you just wanna make money the answer is the same as it’s always been:

Find the best deal on sealed modern that you can and stonk up

Buy two steam siege booster boxes and 30 loose booster packs.

Save the money for a future date

several cards i want are well over 3k so that would only be a contributing source of funds

I’d either go for the Gold Star and as many other higher-cost Kyogres I can fit in or just save up for one of the Mireil Art Academy promos.

Well everything Pokemon isnt worth spending money on right now from my POV, but if I ultimately had to spend the 3,000 I was given I would wait around a month or so, and bless one or two people during E4’s secret santa. Although It would probably be a few cheaper cards even with that amount of money, and moreso into the non-tcg side of the hobby unless specified by them.

One of the best card to me. Finally a great Gengar card.

Hopefully we are maxing these accounts yearly anyways, but Id save the 3k for the next dip in the market and keep buying non-tcg or good deals in the meantime

Anyway, OP to answer your question I am buying japanese special art set cards - great value in them.
