If you could only keep one card?

I would have to go with houndoom from aquapolis personally my favorite artwork and thats a tough decision considering houndoom as a lot of great variation.

Actually disregard what I said originally. I would definitely choose my 4th print psa 10 Charizard. Not only because its from a unique rare variation but also cause i pulled it myself last year and had it graded

I’d have to say my Groudon. It’s just the nicest card I have. I also got very lucky with obtaining it in a Goodwill lot believe it or not.

Thank you man, it’s become my prized possession, haha. I typically don’t spend a whole lot on cards. I buy cheaper cards online, and look for cards locally usually. Wish I had the money to buy cards like this, so when I got it I knew I was going to keep it forever, lol. Selling it did cross my mind though. I just couldn’t do it.

To be honest I haven’t either really. Truthfully my mom found 2 tins packed full with plastic wrap closing both of them. I guess to keep people from opening it up to see what was in it. She got them for me because they were dirt cheap. Opened it up and nearly had a heart attack. I doubt I’ll ever be that lucky again. Someone obviously didn’t know what they were donating.

My heart would’ve dropped after opening those tins.

Bro. Incredible. I gotta get to Goodwill more often once these virus is gone haha. What an unbelievable stroke of fortune.
To upload images:

  1. Make an imgur account. (You did that.)
  2. Upload your image on imgur. (Good.)
  3. Scroll over your options (depends on if you’re looking in your gallery or just uploaded or even if you’re using phone or computer, I think) until you see “Get share links” and click on that.4. Copy the BBCode (Forums) link.5. Paste in your reply. (do NOT use the “insert image” icon or whatever)
At least that’s how I do it idk

Unfortunately, the case looks scratched up but signed by Masakazu Fukudda hooked up by Smpratte. I was going to send it in for grading and then everything else happened lol…

Yeah, haha. I might not ever find anything else again, but for the price that was paid for those tins it’s worth the gamble anyway. If I see cards at Goodwill, no doubt about it, I’m picking them up.

It worked! It displays the picture on the forums now! Thank you so much man!!

No problem, buddy.

Ive raved about this card on more than one occasion before, but this would be my one and only id keep. I have a bunch of cards that outpace this one for miles in terms of value, but to me this one I just feel is priceless. It represents the wholesome nature of pokemon while also sporting some killer artwork, and it was one of the first cards I newly discovered in getting back into collecting last year. Overall, this card just means a lot to me and it also never ever fails to make me smile.

Just look at him in the little boat!!

The card that has the most value to me is the 1st edition Fossil Dragonite card that I found in an old binder (first slot in the binder, as it was my favorite card when younger). Luckily I had sleeved it and kept it in pretty solid condition, even had another copy a ways back in the binder. So when I eventually found PSA graded cards, I sent a few cards in to get graded hoping for that “mint” grade hopeful for an 8 or 9 and I was SHOCKED to find that my Dragonite got a PSA 10.

That was my first experience with PSA grading and I have graded/sold a lot of my collection since, but I would never dream of selling my Dragonites that have survived from my childhood with me. Btw this was a little bit more impressive for me, because I am not primarily a collector like most people on this forum - I was more of a player back in the day, and saved some of my more rare cards in binders but played with majority of my cards. Not to mention my friends and even my own cousin stole a lot of my cards from my binders back in the day. When I first revisited my binders, there was many empty slots…which I never left, as the binders were full. My biggest loss was some of my best Charizards which I know for a fact my cousin stole - haven’t talked to him since.
