Not my photo because I don’t keep it on me, but with out a doubt Art Academy Gourgeist.

I remember months before having the opportunity to buy one my friend showed me the Art Academy Tangrowth. Wanted to go 50/50 as an “investment”. I told him I could care less about Tangrowth, but was curious about the series so I looked into it. Saw the Gourgeist and was like, yes. If I could have any card in this set it would be that. It’s like a love letter to Ghost pokemon, and the fact it was drawn on an old DS amazes me.

Next thing I know someone posted about selling one on FB. I reached out so fast and was for sure my biggest purchase to date, but I’ll never regret it.

Someone please buy the rest of this man’s cards so I can try and buy his last one from him, please.

I might be cheating a bit; but I’d keep my 2-Player Starter Deck Display Case!

After selling my childhood collection on eBay, my eBay Business started-off by purchasing, breaking-up, and selling a 2-Player Starter Deck Display Case with my Dad. At the time I didn’t even know all Theme Decks contained the exact same cards! LOL It’s definitely not the coolest / most exciting item within my collection; however, it definitely brings back the most memories and shows how much I’ve been able to grow in such a short period of time!

A pretty rough PSA 7 1st ed Dark Houndoom that is my first holo 1st ed pull when I was a kid. However if I’m being realistic and value is taken into account, I’d keep a higher value card.

my banged up raw crystal charizard. i thought the card was overrated until i had it in hand. its creased and dirty but i love it. even in its condition its doubled in value from my initial purchase somehow. love it.
