Is he still considered the owner of the PSA 10 Illustrator despite making it a fractional share?

He took it off and it was a failed project liquid marker place. So as of 2023 he is still owner of the card. That card is around 2-3m true value even though he says it’s a 5m card. The bgs zard is definitely a 1m card, and first Ed are 300-350k and he owns 7-8 of them.
there are probably hundreds of people on this server who also own hundreds of psa slabs. i grant you that he is the most flamboyant collector with his “psa 10” illustrator (thats actually a psa 9 thats been regraded a bunch) and “bgs 10” charizard (that failed to get the 10 on numerous occasions), but i dont think he would be anywhere close to someone like rusty for example. I dont think he would crack the top 10 or even top 20 if we had all of the data

If money is everything I might release how to find all prime numbers. A lil snippet. This gives you all the primes between 11 and 41. @inertgeometry there is a lot of geometry in this.

I’m too lazy to do the research, but how many of the extremely rare trophy cards in the pop reports (illustrators/pika trophies etc.) are unaccounted for?
Unless we’re talking about someone with a tonne of raw cards, or sealed product, I can’t see how there can be that many ‘super unknown private collections’ that rival what some people on that list are known to own

What makes a top collector?
I switched off automatically once I saw LP in OPs top 10 list. Sure he has the illustrator, but what else does he have that no one else has?

until late last year, Dubsy’s collection was ‘private’ (people in the high-end card community knew him I believe, but it wasn’t on socials anywhere I believe). There’s no real way of knowing if there are more people in that situation out there who just don’t care about social media

This thread reminds me of how the Saudi Royal family and Russian Oligarchs never seem to make the Forbes list. They report assets as well as politicians. Maybe next year!

Well my point is that there can’t be that many, if we’re considering graded cards, due to the low pops of the most sought after cards. But sure there’s likely a few people there with insane collections that keep it to themselves - I just don’t think it’s all that likely that one single person has a collection that significantly dwarfs that of some of the names given here.
Btw @Tydrennis I think it’s a nice topic of discussion
