Whats going on everyone?! Hope everyones having a great day thus far. I myself had a few mild bouts with anxiety/depression yesterday (been a sufferer for years, but I will say the past 3-4 have been very manageable which is a plus!) and I figured today id share a card which just always gets me to laugh:
I keep this Fossil Slowpoke on my desk at all times just because its so derpy and hilariously out of place to me, and in having these feelings come up yesterday when I sat down to do some work it just put a smile on my face and brightened my mood. I got this in ordering a few psa cards from a seller in the UK a while back, and now I consider it just a wholesome and funny good luck charm of sorts (I open packs with it as well and it helps the pulls, trust me haha).
So what are some card arts that you find funny or just wholesome in general?! Which make you smile or give you a laugh when looking?! Would love to hear everyones input!
Side Note: I took a wider angle shot of Slowpoke because I had to include on of my favorite plushies that sits with it.
I love the Tropical Wind series! The 2004 is my favorite. I think 2004 is the time when Psyduck becomes resigned to the fact that his wonderful vacation has been ruined and he will no longer be able to rest in his hammock in peace.
@fourthstartcg haha poor Psyduck haha! I actually grabbed a copy of that card in a massive promo lot months ago and I really enjoy it as well!
@khairis it is a bit sad, but the legend maker sticker almost gives it a comforting vibe haha. One day Omanyte will see its true potential!
and @swolepoke its so funny you comment, because your user name is all I think of now when I see my Slowpoke which adds to the laughs! And I really love how happy the little ditto is in that one!!
@smpratte same! It almost like he took a wrong turn somewhere in a field, yet he doesn’t have a single care in the world. We should all aspire to have such a calm/contentness nature like Slowpoke haha.
And I also love a lot of the Tag Team arts and theres a bunch of great ones to be found there!

@madden12ut by far, thats one of my all time favorites. I play a Mew/Mewtwo deck for the tcg and I have tons of copies of this version just for how great it is! My girlfriend always mentions how “its like looking at us in our relationship” as well, which yeah I cant deny that .
@originalera I honestly think those are some of the most criminally underrated cards to come out in recent years. I have them all myself and theyre extremely heartwarming to see!

@pkmnflyingmaster, whoa, i had no idea that there was a whole tale beyond these cards! I actually have the Natte Wake Pikachu myself, but I never knew that there was a whole little comic write up and backstory with the arts involved. That really makes these cards so much more special and I think I might have to look into getting the whole collection of them all now!
