How does PSA handle slight curves in cards?

So, I have a few cards that I want to get graded since I am primarily a graded collector. Some of these cards exhibit a slight bending of sorts similar to a warping or waving. There are no creases in the card, and it is not curved like holos can do over time.

I have attached a picture for reference. I’m just trying to know what to expect from the grade before I send it off. Otherwise the card is in mint condition, but I am not sure how serious of an issue the warping is.

Thanks in advance!!

It depends on whether the grader spots it or not. What your picture shows is not part of the natural curvature of the card, it’s definitely warped. You can see where it comes to a point and slopes off instead of gradually curving end to end.

If the grader spots it you can go from a PSA 9/10 to a PSA 5/6 because it’s a pretty serious issue for PSA. Poketubers and posters here have posted card returns where this has occurred.

The card is definitely warped. I’m almost positive the grader will spot it unfortunately. It sucks because I pulled this from a sealed package this way. The card in question is one of the 3 Pikachu Outbreak cards that I recently purchased. I am just trying to figure out what could have caused this type of warping! All of the cards were sent in the same package and neither of the other cards exhibit this which makes me think that it wasn’t the shipping. When this one comes back graded lower than the others, it is going to drive me insane in a hunt for one that is the same grade as the rest!

A few heavy books could straighten it out with enough time
