How does everyone feel about Yuka Morii cards?

Firstly, hello everyone. Long time lurker, first time poster here.

Personally, I think they’re so distinct and recognisable. I’ve recently started trying to collect every card of hers, though this is proving to a bit difficult to track down some.

Does anyone here collect her illustrations? And does anyone know if any signed cards of hers are out there?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the artist.

Hi Lucy,

Welcome to E4!

I don’t collect her exclusively, but I am a fan! Here’s one of my favorites (also from an excellent set for artwork):

Her and Kagemaru Himeno are definitely my favorites from the distaff side of the illustrators.

I find them to be incredibly bland most of the time. I enjoy card art for fine detail and sharpness, with they usually don’t have.

I feel like some are close to being good, but not sure what could be done to improve them. Needs just a bit extra.

Yes! I’m glad I found someone who feels the same way! I don’t think I’ve seen any of her autographs. Perhaps some old timers here might have some insight.

Her art does give a very different feel to the card, somehow it always triggers me to think of an old television show. idk don’t ask me why xD. I do collect her cards in my binder if I come across it by chance.

My favorites are the ditto(pika, bulba, charmander, squirtle) delta species and the Pokemon 10th anniversary cards. Good luck on your collection! Hope to see some of yours!

One of my favourite illustator. Definately a “different” style, one of the reason i like pokemon artwork so much.
