I recently got my hands on this Japanese Ancient Mew (still in its movie pamphlet!) with a cross shape in its holographic pattern ; which I assume is a factory misprint.
If I’m not mistaken this is the Type I “Nintedo” Error version of the card, but none of the other copies of this card I had seen so far showed this peculiar shape. It’s not like I’ve seen a ton of them either though, so I’d like to ask you lovely people if that’s something you’ve already come across. Or could this be a unique case of Typo + Misprint, very sloppy Ancient Mew?
Yeah those lines are pretty common. I picked up a Nintedo error just like yours the other day and it’s gem besides one of those darn vertical lines.
For anyone unfamiliar with the original movie pamphlet I’d highly suggest checking them out. Artwork is great, high quality print on thick paper, and the presentation of the card is many levels beyond the mediocre English release of the Ancient Mew card.
