Not enough info bro. Apparently you have 15 (“avg 9”) rares but some are sky high in 10s and cheap in 8s. Plus, cards like Wartortle etc bring major differences in PSA 10 or maybe you don’t have one at all?

Can’t give you an accurate number without knowing exactly what you’re selling.

Thanks Gary I can appreciate you need more info and really appreciate your help, I have just updated my orginal post, I just went through every card and have listed them and their grades.
Thanks again,Owen

Your best bet is likely to punch each one into pokemonprice.com/ and add them up.

The holos would likely average between $3500-4000 from what I know of recent sale prices. The rest is legwork that you need to put in by researching past sales. Non-holo prices fluctuate wildly from $20 to over $100 depending on the grade and rarity.

I don’t recommend selling on Facebook and Instagram as their visibility is almost nil compared to eBay and, more importantly, they aren’t legitimate marketplaces. If you’re not familiar with eBay you should get acquainted. It’s something most collectors will need to learn in order to collect efficiently.

Like switch said it would take a lot of leg work and checking pokemonprice.com to nail down a solid price but maybe somewhere around 7000.00?

Its not about being bothered to click @smpratte its about asking people like your self and gary for advice who have dealt with selling things like this before, its all well and good saying look up a price (which this one is wrong anyways im looking at selling a 1st ed base set not team rocket) and add them up but do you account for the time and effort to put together a near complete set? like this and i had asked for advice on where to sell something like this which seems to be advised to use ebay.
Thanks for everyone’s feed back so far and for a ball park figure Gary i was thinking about the 7-8k mark too.

Cheers,
Owen

@cutters I didn’t direct that at you Owen, just at people who are unaware that this data is easily accessible on Pokemonprice. But yes it is simply a metric, there is no one exact answer!

Owen I think an incomplete set across a range of grades might be a hard sell, I could be wrong but I think you’d have an easier time piecing it out over trying to find a buyer for the lot. I believe eBay is almost always a better option for selling than IG simply due to the reach.

For your options in selling:
Ebay:~10% sale fee + ~3%sale fee from paypal. As Pierce said above you’ll get a far more better reach
IG+Fb:~3%sale fee from paypal goods and services.

I’d agree with Pierce as well and feel like you’ll have an easier time splitting the set due to the vast range of grades, additionally when you get into the
And as always if you need the funds fairly quickly, then you can just set it up for auction

I wouldn’t put the cutoff at 8 though. I have several people building sets in the 6 and 7 range, but only for 1st Base.
