Help Pricing Item - Blissey 066 PSA 10 Town on No Map Unlimited

Hello,

I am trying to find some sales data on a PSA 10 Blissey 066 Unlimited. The unlimited version now has a Pop of 9 and the 1st edition is at a Pop 74. Recent sold (ebay) 1st edition was $250 and the lowest current 1st Ed is $350. I understand that in most cases Japanese unlimited is more rare than 1st ed, I am just trying to figure out a list price. I am in Canada, so if my prices are off a bit, I might have made a slight mistake in conversion to USD.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the best.

It is clearly much harder to come by as unlimited, as you point out. But I think this is a situation where many people would still just prefer 1st ed despite the difference in rarity.

That being said, there is likely someone out there trying to put together an unlimited set and/or someone who might want it because they are a big Blissey collector.

I would look to see if there are any other sales data for 1st ed vs holo on some of the other cards in the set to see if there is a premium. I would also list the card much higher than the 1st ed copy to see if any desperate buyers are lured out.

Thanks @pfm that’s pretty sound advice. Much appreciated.

I agree with pfm. Most collectors will still prefer the 1st ed stamp even if there is greater rarity in the unlimited copies.

That said, rarity is on your side and someone will always be looking for a gem mint copy. I might suggest listing the unlimited copy at 130% of the lowest 1st ed copy on the market. So around $450, understanding that you may end up selling it for $300-400. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much. I agree with you both, 1st edition sounds better for sure. It’s funny, when I bought it raw, I didn’t even notice it wasn’t first edition. Shocked when the pop showed 9.

I appreciate the insight. Thanks again.

I paid around 150 for mine start of 2020. So i would say dub that maybe… Really hard to say tho… Imo it should go for around the same as a 1st ed or even more to the right buyer. Rarity and the fact of people even finding an unl pack and pulling a canidate for a 10 are low/next to imposible at this point.

Does just come down to finding a person going after an unl copy for a set tho if your going for that premium niche sale. Maybe 400-500 to the right buyer?

Thanks so much. I have it listed at $499.99 CDN and we shall see how it goes.

Thanks for the advice.
