Is anybody familiar with this error and can tell me something about it? This example isn’t mine, but I own a 1st Edition Dark Raichu from Team Rocket just like it.
Any idea what it would be worth?

I think the water-stain-looking mess that goes outside the image onto the card.
That “water-stain-looking mess” is holographic.
I’ve had a few cards like that, most were a less severe than yours. The right collector would be interested but as a whole you’re targeting a small percentage of collectors with an error like that.
Price can’t really be estimated, your best bet is throwing it on ebay.
I think it would be awesome to own that kind of an error, but then again, I think every error is awesome
