Have you guys seen Nintendos new terms and agreements?

In Nintendos new news and agreements, they say they reserve the right to BRICK YOUR SWITCH if you don’t comply, and mention that you reserve the right to USE the switch not own it. I wanted to buy Pokemon Z-A for the switch 2 and not 1, but now I’m wondering if I should even get the switch overall and should just skip out. Thoughts?

nintendo could have a clause to turn me and others into a human centipede in its terms and id still buy two consoles

Skip it. Dont let them shackle you down to a game, take this as an opportunity to get outside and find some things to keep yourself active and having healthy habits.

Well you bought the console, but actually it is still ours, also where in the terms of service does it say this?

Not sure, just looked at some news sources and online.

Since when did WE (as in the e4 community) look at terms and conditions?

Are you planning to mod some consoles/games? If not, I think you’ll be fine.

This has always been a thing. If you got caught modding your switch 1 Nintendo banned your hardware address from online play.

The easiest way to get banned is to connect to the internet with a pirated game, use cheats in online play, or modify your avatar icon and get reported.

Not sure how they would “brick your switch” rendering it unable to play games offline.

Louis Rossmann’s video on this is gonna be an absolute scathing fire banger of a video.
