I found these two misprint cards going through stuff I had as a kid. I can’t find anything about this Gastly misprint! It’s a fossil card and there is a red glowing Rick thing under him. Sorry I can’t figure out how to add pictures

Rick… Gastly ?
?
This made me laugh!! How do you come up with this stuff
Do you think Rick Gastly is friends with Rick Grimer? (Sorry in advance I know it’s terrible but couldn’t resist)
@tcbomberboys33 , based on your name and question, I assume you are /u/MNbomberboys33 on reddit? So this is the Gastly you’re asking about, right:
To quote my comment I also made on reddit:
Never seen it with the Gastly before, but ink misprints happen more often. This is probably a one-of-a-kind ink error, and to the right collector might be worth a few USD more in comparison to the Gastly without ink drop. It’s also possible more Gastly with an ink dot at this exact same spot are out there as production error. I’ve seen some ink drop errors before which I thought were one of a kind, but later on another one popped up with the same ink dot at the same place, like these Tangelas for examples; these Vulpix with blue dot (which are also available in 1st edition); Charizard with a black dot at Nintendo in the copyright; Blastoise with a red dot above the Water Energy in the attack; Clefairy with a heart-shaped dot at its name; Pinsir with a weird dot above it’s 1st edition symbol; Krabby where a part of its bony hand set symbol is missing; Butterfree with a ; etc. etc.
All those are ink errors that have occurred on more than one card. I could probably name a few more.
Regardless, most are worth a bit more than without the error, but nothing too crazy. Most people don’t really care about these kind of errors, so you’ll have to find a misprint collector who collects these in order to get a reasonable nice price for your Gastly. If you manage to find evidence of more Gastly cards with that same ink error like the ones above, it would help to sell it, but I doubt there are more. Ink errors happen pretty often, and usually just like miscut or off-centered cards, it’s a one-of-a-kind production error. The errors mentioned above probably had something stuck on the printing press, so more than one card with this same error were printed one after another.
