I’m hoping Des Moines or Omaha so it’s close for me. Either way I’m going!
Toronto pls
Vegas Baby
London! Manchester!! ohh wait…
Please be Atlanta
West Coast would be nice. Missed the Anaheim one.
Orlando
Supposedly there is a rumor there is going to be an increase in Japanese Worlds invites next year with a system/structure change. So the out of left field guess would be Tokyo. The more realistic guess is of course anywhere in the US not in Florida (as Worlds is essentially confirmed to never be holdable in Florida again]
So my US guess would be D.C. again
Vegas would be a cool location - and it definitely fits into a couple of categories: Iconic outside of the US, possible venues, would be good for the growing of the game. The only negative I have heard when people have discussed Vegas for a regionals/worlds location in the past is that the reputation for gambling and other things could be a bad thing/hard thing to put together with Pokemon’s family friendly image
Detroit lol
Why not? I’d lean towards Texas or an east coast city otherwise.
Apparently there was at one point concern about a Hurricane’s timing during the time it was held in Florida and having to potentially to either reschedule/cancel the event. So in terms of organization they try and keep the risk of Hurricane season in mind
More pluses for Vegas.
Tons of championship golf courses and zero natural disasters:)
Tijuana, Mexico
But in all seriousness, I’d think it would be back on the East Coast. My guess is Philadelphia.
Maybe they will do Hawaii? Hawaii & San Diego are the most popular venues with 3 each.
As cool as Japan sounds, it would be incredibly inconvenient for everyone besides the Japanese.
My vote is in for Atlanna
Yea - I don’t really think there is a super realistic chance of Worlds being held outside of the US/NA myself either. Hawaii definitely has a lot of plusses going for it: Close for the Japanese executives, has the tourist reputation in Japan as well, still US soil, its been 6 years since the last Hawaiian worlds.
Worlds was definitely smaller in 2012 though in terms of competitor size, spectators, etc. - from what I have heard the Hawaiian worlds locations were pretty small (Although I haven’t ever seen them myself, so take with some salt) - so not sure if thats exactly what they want to do again. I don’t know how much they listen to the player community in terms of choosing venues - but I remember in the crowd when it was announced this years worlds would be in Nashville I definitely heard some of the foreign crowd do an audible “Whaaaa?” as a lot of people viewed it as the middle of no where.
But yea, your guess (and anyone’s here) is as good as mine. I personally hope it stays east coast though
Detroit (lol)

My vote is in for Atlanna
I heard one of the reasons they moved regionals out of Georgia to NC this last season is because organized play was having issues with prize money and gambling laws in the state. Worlds would probably still run into similar issues
I completely understand the many reasons it’ll never be held in Oceania, but it’d be a hell of a boon if it were to be held on Sydney or even Singapore.
