@arca9Part 2 of the list.
I’m aware that you mentioned you don’t collect Arcanine, but if you decide to start collecting Arcanine one day, this list might be useful for you …
In total, up to 13th April 2025, Arcanine (Kanto) has 15 different cards in S-Chinese while H-Arcanine has 7 different cards in S-Chinese
Take in consideration that in the future more cards will appear. Take your precautions!!! Take in consideration that some artworks have been released more than 1 time in Mainland China (with different card numbers and different variants)

Thank you so much
I’m going to reorganise my list into seperate pages for each language and add these in
Thank you for the list
Looks like I’ll have to be gambling on those decks at some point myself too, at least it quenches that pack ripping thirst
Which language is this in? I wasn’t aware of a glossy version before.
I’m interested in all varients except for the “code” varients where the only difference is the long code on the bottom left of cards, might go for those once I’m “complete” but for now I’m pretending they don’t exist.
Updated the OP with binder scans instead of the awful picture I had before.
Also updated the google sheet with the Thai, Indonesian, T-Chinese and S-Chinese cards thanks to the help of you lot
Which deck is it we’re needing? I’ll keep an eye out and hopefully get lucky
It’s English. Some of the Unbroken Bonds build & battle boxes came with glossy commons. I dug up a 2019 picture of the Seel compared to a vending series card:
Saw you got a couple Growlithe in the thread you made about this a few years back, still got them?
If not might have to buy out some stock on cardmarket and end up with 50 non glossy Growlithe
You mean that the Unbroken Bonds booster pack found in this prerelease kit had glossy card instead of normal cards?
Because from the product description I thought that the glossy cards could be only the ones listed.
The non-holo Common cards within the Unbroken Bonds booster packs within the Pre-release kits, can have a small chance of being glossy. I don’t think any of the pre-selected cards within the kit will ever be glossy.
FWIW, when I’ve first heard about this, I bought three of these pre-release kits from three different sellers. Three out of four booster packs in just one of those kits contained the non-holo glossy cards (luckily including the Pikachu I wanted And I’ve just checked, but I don’t have the glossy Growlithe nor Porygon, sorry. ) All the other booster packs were just regular ones.
And tbh, I would consider them as repeating errors, rather than an actual variation to collect. More like a nice-to-have. Mostly because a lot of modern cards can have this same glossy cardstock. I’ve seen glossy cards on:
New boy arrived
Absolutely adore this artwork, there’s a good handful of Growlithe cards that I really like but this one is definitely up there.
This means I’m just one card left for the English set, the Illustration Rare from Twilight Masquerade. Time to find it for a decent price.
Yeah I see them the same, maybe once I have everything else I’ll hunt them out, though more likely I’ll just keep a conscious eye when browsing bulk boxes in the future.
