I remember someone many years ago lost a secret battle mewtwo trophy card and sir Pratte was helping looking for it as it was “lost” in mail
Wonder what type of delivery service was used and if that was also from a huge auction house
for the goldin thing, it wasnt just cards it was everything they shipped over 1-2 weeks or so… ups or someone at ups rerouted the packages and then stole them after i guess? no idea what really happened at the end i never ship anything crazy valuable with ups anyway maybe only some giant taytay frames 
I believe that if you are paying thousands of dollars for destroyed condition cards that are in this supply, something is going very bizarre in your decision process when it comes to the actual rarity and potential future of the item. I’m no oracle, and I know that it has already been said a million times but this kind of explosive growth on items that aren’t exactly very rare is not something that can be held up.
PSA 9 Unlimited Zards in 2020 made it up to 6k, and crashed back to 1k. We’ve seen this kind of extreme circumstance on plenty of popular, and exploitable cards.
If you are paying 4,000$ for a psa 2 condition Rayquaza, where do you exactly see this card in 5 years. Is someone paying you 10,000$ for it? More?
The movement in gold stars right now very much does not feel organic to me, so what happens when the people just scooping up any damaged copy at ridiculous prices gives up on doing that

investor bros thinking gold stars in any condition is “rare” is insane to me just coz u pull them in 1/10 booster boxes doesnt mean its rare
paying 15k for a psa 7 gs rayray is insane and even if you actually believe its rare 15k will get u basically and trophy in the same condition
but hey maybe the only thing they have to benchmark is the moonbreon whose psa 10 condition is multiple times higher than any entire gs population

Just saw the notification of you tagging my story. Man, I can’t believe how sky high these gold stars are now. It’s really hard for me to watch the market anymore. I do see some of my cards on the market every now & again.. He’s selling through Z&G primarily?

No worries at all. I’ve accepted it at this point, life goes on. I pop in here every now & again to keep tabs on things.
I don’t know who has what at this point. Nothing came out of tracking down the card store owner.. And I can’t blame him. There was nothing legally tying me to the cards. I just see some when I’m scrolling through eBay every now & again.

I can’t pretend it hasn’t been extremely hard to move on but it’s all you can do. Unfortunately, we can’t go back in time. Hopefully my story can help others make better decisions.

That’s crazy lol The gs ray on Z&G is also getting some attention but I just have this deep feeling at the end of the auction it won’t be paid for.
The BGS 8.5 hasn’t been confirmed paid either through Z&G
