I’ve been keeping a scratchpad of these prices for a bit now and figured I’d share it and have a place to keep notes over time. Hope this saves someone a bit of time.

Notes:

  • Added a couple recent BGS prices as placeholders for items without recent sales.
  • New certs keep popping up so the well isn’t completely dry on grading yet, but there’s a massive disconnect between raw/graded pricing - shops tend to list anything in decent shape pushing PSA 9 or 10 prices.
  • Total last sold for 1ED sets, WCP, and gift box cards in PSA 10 is $62,568.

Haven’t gone through them all but the 15k Mew is not listed in PWCC’s sales history. There was also a Raikou sale for 2100 through the PWCC Vault when it was still through eBay, though there was another sale lower than that after (can’t remember how much). There is currently one at auction however.

Thanks. The Mew price seemed weird to me, didn’t think to check the PWCC history. Will update.

@hisoka107 I have that in the spreadsheet but left it off here since the data is incomplete/out of date, but I guess it doesn’t hurt to have it anyways. Will update.

Thank you for this! One of my biggest TCG regrets is not picking up the Charizard, Mew, Flareon, Espeon and Umbreon back in 2007. 14 years later, a few hundred doesn’t sound so unreasonable, does it!?

In terms of general price trending, most cards seem to have peaked and are now coming back to earth a bit.

Since the sales are so few and far between for these in general, I think I can keep up with pretty much every graded sale in here so… Dumping some extra data to start to try to fill in the gaps and plot some history since the table only shows last sold. Sales are from the last few months unless otherwise stated.

As someone who’s going for the complete PSA 10 set of the JP Gold Stars, I appreciate this thread. It’s also crazy to see how much these are worth now compared to when I bought them 1-2 years ago

The unlimited gyarados that went for $2013 was reposted on ebay due to buyer not paying.

I just won the auction for $1680. All paid up and ready for my first gold star.
