GenCon 2003 jungle square cut set

Hi all, I’m on the verge of doing a trade for a set of jungle square cut holo’s. The seller claims that these cards originate from the GenCon 2003 event where they were given out as a prize to participants. Does anyone have more information about this? I wasn’t able to find anything online.

This one where apparently the Nintendo was crossed out because this is right around the time WOTC lost the license

Because DMTM was there and all the WOTC prizes, I’m wondering if the Nintendo stamped promos had anything to do with this tournament at all
