Hi everyone, I’m making a seperate post from this topic to document the existence of these so-called “Pokemon Club” variant (according to TCG Collector). They are Pokemon cards with the play stamp that came out before Prize Pack was a thing.
The photo above is all the cards that have the “Pokemon Club” tag variant. (RH=Reverse Holo, H=Cosmos Holo)

The ones crossed out are easily found on TCG Player or eBay.
-
The rest are somewhat hard to come by or never been seen before, not until recently.
After talking with direct source, the owner of the cards below, here what I have gathered:
These appear to be a set of 6 Pokémon promo cards that were given out at his high school in California, where there was a Pokémon Club program in 2020, but then COVID happened and the program got shutdown shortly. The cards were handed out directly to club members — roughly 10 students — with each member receiving one of each card in the set.
I suspect there are more stock sitting somewhere (from other club members, and no chance pokemon only printed a handful of these cards) but not sure why there’s no info on these whatsoever from the Internet.
While they exist in the TCG Collector Data, seller tried to submit the Gengar and Charizard to PSA but they didn’t grade the cards for him and sent back with the reason being “no specific info, no grade, no charge”.
From the set, the ones more available are the Alcremie, Drednaw and Pikachu. There are also some events that were giving out these cards to the public, according to @Quuador :
Thanks for the info! Always love to learn new things like this. ![]()
Now I know of three different places the Pikachu, Drednaw, and Alcremie originated from.
For completeness, the other two are:
Additional Info from direct source/owner of these cards:
Starter Trio were also given out at Worlds 2022 in London.
Dragapult evolution line was also given out through his Pokemon Club Program at his high school.
All are rare to come by too. Pics below.
*Edit: Trio starters and Dragapult evo line were also given out starting last year from the Pokemon Library Club, not strictly back in 2020.
Thank you to @badedyr @Quuador and @calcsucks for the knowledge in this post. Hopefully this helps whoever is looking for any of these cards in the future.
Best regards,
Balloon Gengar
