I’m on the verge of doing a trade for a set of jungle square cut holo’s. The seller claims that these cards originate from the GenCon 2003 event where they were given out as a prize to participants.
Does anyone have more information about this? I wasn’t able to find anything online.

Be still my beating heart… it’s highly possible. I know one of my square cuts came as a promo from an event.
If it’s indeed flashcards selling those they might have been from Jeroen Roberts, who did win that tournament.
Yes a lot of WotC stuff was given out that weekend, they had to clear their warehouse due to the end of their license.
