Furious FIsts Launch Kit

A brand new PTCG product will debut with Furious Fists! This one is called the “Furious Fists Launch Kit” and is unlike any PTCG product released before. It comes with two booster boxes worth of Furious Fists booster packs (72 packs), eight theme decks, and 16 holo promo cards.

This product seems to be targeted at folks who like to buy Pokemon cards in bulk or who want to hold their own mini prerelease… or something. As of now we do not have a price or product image, nor do we know what the promo cards are (hopefully they won’t be unique to this kit or it’ll be expensive to get them).

Supercharge your Pokémon Trading Card release day with the XY - Furious Fists Launch Kit! It includes 72 booster packs and 8 theme decks from the XY - Furious Fists expansion, plus 16 foil promo cards to trade, play, and add to your collection!

Each kit contains:

72 Furious Fists booster packs!

8 Furious Fists theme decks!

16 exciting foil cards: 8 each of two designs!

A unique shelf display to hold the product for the new release

This is…wow.

My guess is an RRP of about 220-250 dollars, in the US at least.

I hope it does have a unique group of promos!

8 theme decks…Wish it had 0.

Can’t like this enough, it’ll jack the price up for theme decks not that many people will want.

You mean push the price down? Everyone that buys these for the holos, assuming they are unique, will be trying to pitch the theme decks. Haha

I mean jack the price up for the RRP on the product itself. It’ll be great for people who actually like theme decks, but there aren’t many of those.

How do we know they will push the price up like that? We don’t have an MSRP. The holos may just be incentivizing stores to order a theme deck display along with their boxes and the price could stay the same.

The product is going to come as one though, so you are going to get the theme decks in the package no matter what. They aren’t just going to throw those in with the Booster Packs and the Promo Holos for free, it will add a certain amount to the cost of the product as a whole.

Or have I totally misunderstood what you mean?

What I’m saying is that typically hobby stores order booster boxes but skip out on theme decks. This package could be to incentivize hobby stores to stock theme decks. They’d be getting two boxes and one theme deck display for the same price as usual, but additional holos to offset cost of unsold product.

Ahhh I see what you mean now. I suppose it all comes down to what they decide to charge stores for them.

For sure.

My first thought was all the contents wrapped in a GIANT booster pack lol. Charizard mega battle packs got me all screwed up :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought this was Japanese :slightly_frowning_face: Reading that it is English TCG makes me want to buy it even less! :stuck_out_tongue:

The English TCG didn’t want your prejudiced money anyway.

Well the 8 decks and only 2 unique promos is really appealing @funmonkey54 :stuck_out_tongue:

The English TCG does not have nearly enough valuable promos. I only wish they came with 16 different ones so the values were that much higher.

And still absolutely no chance to get every card in the set!

ETA: Every card in the set, hell, with the English pull rates lately, it’s more like no guarantee to even get one full art. Not that I’m bitter or anything. :relieved:

MFW: $400 MSRP

Souce?
Please tell me you are joking.

on pokebeach.

Though that is the MSRP that doesn’t mean that is how much it’ll cost.
