Just wondering if anyone else has had cards come straight from PSA with some frosting on an edge of the slab? I have a few cards I graded myself with frosting on the top edge but the top edge only and not the other edges. I want to know exactly how common this is. I don’t want people thinking the slabs have been tampered with since they literally came straight from PSA like that.
Yes, that’s normal. Nearly all show that from pressurized sealing on plastic.

So how would you distinguish between a tampered slab vs a legit slab with some frosting? Based on my observations, am I correct to say a tampered slab has frosting on multiple edges and usually on the sides rather than just the top

Tampered slabs are VERY noticeable.

I have a lot of slabs with frosting problems, it’s very common.

I prefer my frosting on cupcakes. But anyway i’d say somewhere around half of my slabs have this going on, from what I’ve gathered it’s pretty common. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a tampered case but I’d imagine alot more then frosting would be going on wouldn’t it?
