Now I just need a few more cards to get every language in both first and unlimited edition (not sure how I will find the unlimited Korean though!) give me a few more years with these prices!
The Holy Bible!!! Its a little bit beaten up on the outside but all the pages are clean. And for $30 shipped to the UK from Japan I reckon that’s a bargain! Can you guess what the pages the paper marks are for?
Love looking through this book its like a history book for Japanese cards I just wish I could read Japanese!
I wanted to try out my new photo box and I have been working on my incomplete binder sets/collections, in the past few weeks mostly on Team Rocket unlimited. I think the photos turned out pretty decent for someone with zero photography experience
Dark Dragonite is such a beautiful card and I love the way Dark Dugtrio is coming up through the floor in someones house!

Additionally someone had the Korean base set starters for sale on eBay UK, I couldn’t resist.
My signed cards came back from PSA this month. Although I already posted pictures of these I think this card below has elevated to in my top 5 favourite cards in my collection, looks so good incased so I had to share it again!

How difficult did you find it to pick up all those different languages being based in the UK? I’m in the UK too and I’m always paranoid about customs messing with expensive packages…
I managed to purchase a decent amount of these cards from UK sellers, a few were from Europe and a couple from the US too but I never had my cards messed with by customs yet. I have heard it happens but so far so good! I did have to pay customs fees on one or two items but that’s it.
The different language base set Charizards took a fair few years for me to accumulate, mostly due to cost but somewhat to do with availability. Mostly I was just patient and when the right card popped up at the right price I would go for it! It’s harder now than before to find certain cards and prices have increased substantially since I first started on this collection but if you are willing to pay the price you can find most cards will be available somewhere. Also it depends if you’re fussy about condition. Portuguese is one of the hardest to find, but I have seen quite a few battered heavy play Portuguese Charizards on eBay for example.
So a collection goal that started 4 years ago with my purchase of the 1st edition base Charizard on the 24th of December 2015 came to a end last month. I finally got the last card to complete my 1st edition base set 103/102 cards.
I’ve had this card for a few weeks but haven’t got round to updating my collection thread until now. I paid a bit more than I wanted for her but after 4 years I couldn’t wait any longer haha. Shes a beaut!
Amazing work I am missing a few psa 9s to get them all in psa 9 myself I need Portuguese unlimited, Spainish 1st edition, no rarity symbol and korean unlimited and 1st edition so getting close but I have 142 more cards i need to complete what i would like to do before quitting .
It has been a while since I updated this collection thread! Met a fair few of my collection goals the past few months, so excited with some of these pickups. Other cards had to be sacrificed along the way to be able to make these happen but pretty happy with how my collection is coming along!
Kicking things off with the Grand Party! I have been meaning to pick up a copy for years, a few months ago the prices in 9’s had almost caught up with the 10’s which didn’t make sense to me so I grabbed a 10 while it was still within reach.
Another long term goal finally achieved! Jungle holds the most nostalgia as a set for me and I finally completed the 1st edition holo set in PSA 9.
Picked up a couple of no symbol holos as well.
As a Charizard fan I knew as soon as the trophy zards were announced I would be buying one, and I like the Charizard V more (plus it is more affordable). Here is one I graded with the english promo equivalent.
Managed to do a pretty solid trade deal for this Dragonite! The holo looks stunning!

Big collection update! A couple of these I’ve had for a little while but haven’t got round to posting on here yet. Some of you may have seen them on my IG already but I think it’s worth posting on here too. Very happy with these additions! The FPO zard I owned for years after buying from TCA but I finally got it graded rather than being in an authentic case.
