My first big purchase was my 1st edition fossil box. I paid $1100 for it back in 2017.

My second largest purchase was my PSA 9 shadowless Charizard, I paid $1500.

My next big ticket item will Our honorable president both of these

I buy and sell while managing to spend very little on the cards I actually want. Gotta spend big to buy big in my case though. I spent just over 2000 dollars on a combination of sealed first edition booster packs and sets recently. I’m currently working on selling it off. I am up to about 900 already and hope to make about 500 on my investment after ebay fees.

Future purchase will be psa 9 shadowless charizard hopefully.

Bought a card from a guy on eBay who reached out to me wanting to buy all of his cards. Ended up flying out to the guy and bought a lot of 1st ed base cards for $4,700. Trip ended up costing me a lot more with airfare plus a couple casino visits that didn’t end well. All in all though I made out pretty good and the guy was very happy with the cash he got.

I think the biggest is my recent, aprox 5700€ for 1st jungle holo psa 10 set. (Yes I’m ok with that price, no extra postages/fees,) 2nd. Psa9 1st shadowless charizard around 4000€ .
I’m willing to sink more money on cards that I desire, this is fun hobby I must say generally I’d say spend what you can afford and enjoy the hobby!

$200? Lol I’m not in a position currently to take advantage of buying those large lots and saving money so I just spend $20-50 here and there as I’m slowly attaining my collection goals.
