These goalscoring standings before final are just mental. 
Expanded tournament size and 1 extra game for top 4 alone doesn’t explain it. The condition of so many players peaked at right moment and we like to see it. Just Fontaine can keep the record for now without any miracles. 
The game was a 10/10 and its incredible how fun fotball is to watch when both teams try to score and not do stageplay to get fouls and freekicks.
