Bought a 1st edition psa zard at a good price from a new seller… I was hesitant but the cert matches and it came in today looking perfect and legit
However inside the the holo psa symbols on the front and back they have tiny psa symbols all over it when I move in the light. All of my other cards have the words clotnasdaq inside of those holo labels
Everything looks perfect otherwise
I had never noticed that before so I took a look at the few PSA cards I have. All of mine except for one have clotnasdaq and the one that has PSA is a much higher cert. I’m sure there are others who will know more about this than me but I suspect they must have changed it recently. Maybe when PSA got bought?
Thats the answer I was hoping for. My card is in fact a higher cert. The price I got for this card made me put it under the magnify ing glass, so I just noticed this and freaked out a little bit at that detail

On the holo part of the label, it says “CLCT NASDAQ” which refers to the stock identifier for Collector’s Universe, Inc (CLCT) which was traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Now that Collector’s Universe has been bought out, CLCT no longer exists which is why labels created after the acquisition should no longer contain this text.
