It was no fee for a while. They said they were going to do a 3% fee but that got postponed (probably because of the merger)
It’s still no fee for the time being but I’m sure it won’t last

Bye bye cheap fees
Dang it eBay. You were doing so good…
With this change, my goldin vaulted cards can now be sold on ebay? I can’t find that option on the website.
The deal hasn’t closed yet. Likely by end of summer all of this will be available.
There is a promo to unvault your eBay cards for free RN lol

Can you please share where to find this promo? I’m still debating whether to move my cards out of eBay vault, but to move it out for free sounds enticing
Right now the eBay vault has 0% selling fees, but that rate is jumping to a minimum of 7% once PSA fully takes over? Guess it’s time to pull out.
It will be 10%-16% for most cards that sell on eBay. This is a huge disappointment to buyers and sellers. eBay vault allowed for more competitive selling prices for buyers while also catering to the sellers’ bottom line. Now it will be no different from selling from home in terms of fees. ![]()
If most cards sold are $1000 or less, it really makes no difference fee-wise whether the vault or an individual seller sells them. The difference being if an individual seller lists and sells them, they have increased global exposure due to the eBay EIS, whereas right now the vault only allows for US domestic sales so fewer eyes and potential buyers.
Where did you see that table and wow that sucks if it really ends up that way. I was quite excited about the potential of saving PSA shipping fees and since the current eBay vault is so good I thought this would maybe just be the 3% buyer premium or whatever since that doesn’t seem to have started despite it being April.
I haven’t had an issue with fewer buyers, while also enjoying the 0% selling fees. There are tons of vault-only sellers on eBay right now, many of which will have to add 13%-16% to their listings prices to get the same return as before.
I wonder how/if PWCC will respond to any of this with regard to fees or tactics?
Also I wonder when the last day or month I can still have cards in the eBay vault and sell for 0% fees, before PSA fully takes over?
Consolidation removing competition and making things worse for the consumer? Maybe the first time in history this has ever happened.
I want to know both of these things too.
I saw it on Instagram. I’m gonna attempt to pull all mine this afternoon after work. I’ll let you know
Can you post the promo code? I haven’t seen it anywhere yet.
I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll ask the guy on ig what the code is and give it a shot
What’s your reasoning for extracting from the vault entirely?
The PR says they want to close the deal this quarter so at most you have a few more months.
