i saw a few people complaining deep in the neg feedback but like you said they might have had just unlucky pulls because of blister/tins so i risked it. i went with the black and white base set and they have been in customs for the last week according to the tracking info but when i get them il weigh them my self.
cardrush is an actual company is it not? or is it a website just ran by a couple people?? I’ve had a few auctions that do sell low… but a majority are wtf priced… like the trr holo psa 10 dark steelix selling for 180 lol. they’re a bit suspect to me brah
I was asking about this guy yesterday! I’ve been bidding on a bunch of their sm60 charizard promos (psa10s) and everything starts with exactly 6 bids. All bids are private/hidden. They seem to own every single psa9 and 10 of this card. I’m currently bidding on 6 of them just to see if I can win one but it seems soooo sketchy. I tried to ask if I could just buy one outright and offered the average price that all of their auctions were ending at. They declined my offer and countered with something 20 bucks higher than what all of their auctions were ending at. They seem dickish at the very least. Once I’m outbid from these remaining auctions; I won’t be rebidding or bothering with them further.

Its an actual company, with a huge warehouse of cards and a store front. Bigger then 99% of your typical hobby stores.

Look at this auction I lost a few days ago. I won a GEM10 Dialga Lv.X he was selling for $26.
The Palkia auction ended a few hours minutes after. I decided with around 30 seconds left to bid a random amount in the 60’s because I figured the max would be in the $40 range, and with 10 seconds left it was at like ~$25. I was really shocked to see even that bid was outdone. Now I know why:

Not only do these guys shill bid, but they also remove bids before the auction ends if they don’t get traction. I got strung bid up by him and still ended up winning a few items last time around using a snipe app. THIS time I had my eye set on something that I put in gixen with a max bid of $120. I waited 6 days and with 5 hours left and the card was sitting at $9.95 because no one put a max bid in for him to shill up, they cancelled it. I asked about it and the ebay response was “a worker double listed an item and had to cancel it”
Card rush is definitely a shiller, but the cert number comparison is irrelevant for him. He often grades 10+ of the same card in psa 10’s. And does not change the cert number when he starts a new auction.

Guess they don’t have enough time to take photos of the actual card because they just sit in front of a PC all day bidding on their own items.

Was reminded that I never posted an update on the 36 pack lots I bought from these guys, so here it is. Pulled 14 holos from Secret Wonders and 10 holos & 1 Lv.X from Majestic Dawn, so definitely no weighing afoot. I also won the Majestic Dawn lot at a steal: imgur.com/a/CJmGRXI
Interesting, there is not a ton worth grading from either of those sets though. And he only has a few cards up from either of those sets graded in completed or on active.
I would find it more interesting to see how someone does with power keepers. If he is in fact weighing, he could be just taking the highest weight packs and leaving some of the other heavier packs.
I’d say the Secret Wonders Charizard, Blastoise, Mew & Lugia, and Leafeon & Glaceon Lv.X’s are pretty sought after in 10s, which is about the standard number of “PSA chase cards” for most non-WOTC sets.
Is there any reliable weight difference between ultra rares and regular holos in the EX and DP sets? Maybe someone with a scale can compare?

I don’t know how much more we can discuss without getting in trouble.
However I am not too familiar with weighing. But, there is a youtube video where a guy took packs to work with him, and they had a really high end scale. And a pack with goldstar mewtwo weighed the most.
One of the most recent negative feedbacks was someone claiming they weighed 70 something packs and didn’t get any pulls. Quite a few comments about “unsearched” being a load of crap. I have no clue one way or another when it comes to that though, my only beef is with the shilling.
I just think it’s them not really caring – I think they get their packs from tins, so you’re not really guaranteed anything – I also got a lot of the majestic dawn packs and they gave me 35 Majestic Dawn Packs with an accidental (Absol Artwork) Power Keepers pack (they look very similar and the bulk color of the pack – blue – match between the two sets), which would not have happened unless they were really careless, lol. Just to caution and add on to the fact that they’re careless – the packs were all scrunched up and quite a few of my pulls had whitening/dents.
Ah, if it’s taboo, then fair enough. I just wanted to stop by and share my experience with their loose pack lots in case anyone was worried. I can’t conclude anything shady from their PSA 10 Lv.X auctions. I think that market is still incredibly volatile, but it’s probably not healthy for so much stock to be in the hands of a single seller.
Delt with this company on tcgplayer buying magic cards, never again. Gave 3 false tracking numbers, Took making a few threats of opening cases to finally get the cards. This company needs to be avoided.
There is a 9 on ebay for $125 lol. How does this shilling work though, doesn’t the shiller have to pay for the card? Or doesn’t cardrushinc have to pay the ebay fees?
