Props to him for continually researching it for 4 years. That must have been a true labor of love…

Ooooo, the classic ā€œPoint out something I already know, as if they don’t know I know itā€ ploy.
:exploding_head: :sunglasses:
Big Brain move there. Gotta be honest, this one I actually respect a tiny bit because it takes some thought to decided that you’ll try to bluff your way out of it rather than just lie about your mother dying for the 3rd time.

You know what, I actually might respect this move over the ā€˜son stole my phone move’ now that you have me thinking about it.

Got a raw card authenticated by eBay — those little placards they come in are cute, but the elastic bands on opposing corners look like they warp the card a little more than I’m comfortable with.

Wait… they ACTUALLY put it in that little mounted holder they showed in the promos?!

So, ā€œHi, your card is authenticated in NM condition, but we accidentally dented it while strapping it in… sorry.ā€ :anger: :scream: :bangbang:

Aren’t the elastic bands over a cardsaver? I’d be shocked if they could damage a card that is secured by a cardsaver.

Yeah, the cardsaver itself was slightly warped because of the pressure being applied to the two opposing corners – it essentially had a hump in the middle. Maybe the placard itself was bowed in the middle or something. I don’t think it’s enough to be considered damage, but it was kind of concerning to see.

You think they’d just use a method like a gift card holder: slide opposite corners of the card saver into slits in the stand…

Purchased a LOR Display case on October 23rd since, not only did we have that spend $100+ get $20 off here in Canada, but in this listing, there was accepted offer turned on automatically. I got this for $120 CAD shipped since I offered $105. Although, they haven’t shipped it. I don’t want to lose this deal but I’m under the impression they aren’t shipping it because they’re at a loss.
Suggestions?
EDIT: Anyone also experiencing late orders with halloweeandhobby?

Hey! My first one! NBD, but it’s fun for me! :expressionless:

Would you be willing to hit me en insta to avoid fees and do 30

Was considering this reply… IDK, might sit on it.

Well, If we did 30, I’d lose about 10$ because I don’t pay that much in fees. Math aside, I respect my eBay seller rating and 15 year history far too much to break ebay’s selling rules. Lastly, even if we did, which we won’t, we’d have to use paypal goods and services for insurance and assurance. But we won’t, because you suggested a dishonest method without any prompting.

edit: I’m not sitting on his moronic offer, I’m sitting on my response…

This prompts me to ask a question: what is the criteria to have lower selling fees on eBay? Are there any?

if you make the higher seller rating levels (via volume, sales value, reliability, etc) there is a slight discount. Honestly, for me, I’ve found it’s just not worth it for me because I don’t sell enough, and the % discount on fees is not worth my time… but the dork didn’t even do the math, to know what a good deal would be for me.

I’ve just been trying to finally crack 1,000 feedback score but nobody leaves feedback. :sob:

Yeah, It’s tough. But keep at it! You’ll get there soon enough.

I did 100 sales in one week, the most I’d ever done, and only 4 people left feedback.

I threw up on the floor and passed out.

Holy Crap! 100 is impressive. Well, more will leave feedback. Generally it’s bout 50% that leave feedback. But that is a Rusty level work load! Don’t beat yourself up too much.
