Overview Why I began doing these polls in December 2023 as a way to see how the community here ranks cards of various Pokemon or types of cards. Sometimes we may have an idea of what is #1, but what might round out the top 10? It’s hard to guess, and we always end up surprised in the end. What the hell? Why are there so many good cards?! I started to trickle out of interest after Gen 3 so never had much of an appreciation for this Pokemon. Always thought it was a cute design but damn!

Jirachi may actually be statistically the best mythical.
Serene Grace and it’s typing do not mess around!

You can slap steel type on anything and it’ll be better but most mythical have rather lame abilities, whereas serene Grace is one of the most busted to date

it’s definitely more competitively viable than all that came before it, but ironically all of the 100-across-the-board mythicals aren’t very strong anymore. the strongest mythical is actually magearna afaik

I have been eagerly awaiting this poll since these became regular. I am gobbling up all this Jirachi love, it’s so nice to see everyone have an appreciation for some of the most stunning cards in the TCG.

The consistency of quality art for Jirachi is quite astonishing

Funny that everyone seems to be very excited about jirachi and i found surprisingly many cards kinda distant, jirachi also looked a bit off in some cards which killed it for me even if the card and art otherwise was good. A lot of very good ones and lovely diversity especially in modern but overall perhaps the one i found the lowest amount of enjoyable art of these polls. But on the other hand, hoenn and ex era seem to be really what people here like so goes hand in hand with love for gen 3 mythical
