I liked a lot of them too, up to about b&w era. But it’s just based on art. I love gen 3 but never used or even knew about jirachi as a lad because you had to go through a lot to get one

Consolation for having missed a special art twice in the last few years, Saito’s Jirachi has the same celebratory vibe as his 20th Anniversary Festa Pikachu
Also kuroimori, who only just started in Shiny Treasure ex, has knocked each of their cards out of the park. TPC rostered another gem for modern tcg

Not one of my favourite Pokemon at all tbh so just voting on the art that physically pops to me, I only voted for the Half Deck promo, Paradox Rift, and the incredible Kizuki art.
This is one of those where I see everybody raving about the subject Pokemon and the arts and it’s all gone over my head lol. There’s not many here that I would say are bad per se, but very few proved to be memorable ones that I remembered

I voted for Forina but that cosmos is doing all the heavy lifting.
If there was a non-holo version, I doubt it would place as highly.
Which is why I do wonder how E4/community at large would vote on modern common art when they have cosmos variants.
the card on the right will be a common card most likely whenever it makes it over to english if it isn’t in a comparable battle academy type product. i agree that if it had a similar foil to the 711 promo, it would probably have placed higher.

I’ve never noticed that before. Since it’s universally missing on all arts, there has to be purposeful reason for it. I wonder if it’s similar to Yugioh where many arts are subjected to trivial edits and censorship for often obscure or reaching reasons.

All the Jirachi illustrations so far are active with backgrounds celebratory, bathed in cosmic radiance, or just being cute. I guess TPC wants to keep it that way
