Depends what card you’re getting
Who else can’t decide what card to use for this? Currently between 20 different options.
Oh man, I hadn’t checked the participation number for a while. It’s grown quite a bit.
80 cards expected?
I like a good half art trainer, nice and cheap, usually can get in large quantities and have a good amount of white space to utilize for sigs
Wait there’s 47 voters, doesn’t that mean ~50 cards?
Yes, depending on the final participation number, you should sign and get ready whatever the number is plus 3.
So right now, 50 signatures would be the number to ship in. 47+3 extra.
Don’t worry, you all have a month plus to finish your signings. Shouldn’t be too bad of a stack lol.
Honestly, I do not know. Usually the numbers don’t go up a week from the event. So I expect 50-55 signatures everyone has to send in.
47-53 is what I am expecting as in participation this year. Prob no more than that.
At this rate of growth, Year 3 will let me send a full deck that can only be assembled by all participants coming together… wait, wait, wait… I have to focus on this years fun before I get too far ahead of myself.
Im excited for this if you cant tell, lol.
For those wondering “What type of marker/pen do I need for signing my cards?”
Well @Keishara just made this article on just that: Click Here
49! Keep 'em comin!
I might need to buy more cards…
Picked up my pens though!
4 more days getting all my cards together now lol
Damnit guys I bought 45 cards and now I see it’s 49?!
I’m trying to get an idea of what cards to exchange…
Are we limited to Pokemon Cards? Is there a price border on either side? (min/max?)
Also do people mostly sign their actual name or their handles?
- Just about any card is fine. Last year we had a mix of everything.
- No price limit. Even basic energy cards are fine.
- Mostly everyone signed their handles since that is how everyone recognises everyone.
Just for reference, this is just couple of pages which showcases the different flavours. Hope you get more clarity.
Cheers!
I really should have used silver on that phone card.
I would suggest everyone to stay with pokemon cards since a lot of us are putting them into binders and don’t want that card to be different sizes and for everything to be kind of unison. If that is a deal breaker, than using a DBZ card or another in the same size wouldn’t bother me too much. I don’t want this event to limit your creativity.
You mind if I DM you about an idea? I had something I wanted to do, but I don’t know if it might be a problem in the long run. Want to get your thoughts.
Better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission…
