Wow! I’m speechless at the generosity of boomersooner35. What unbelievably generous, thoughtful, and fantastic gifts! First, I unwrapped this AMAZING painting of the Gen 3 starters (by far my favorite starters of any generation):

While this painting alone would’ve been more than enough, that was only the beginning.
I swear you must be a mindreader because I literally have a Ross’s Wailmer (not a PSA 10, but one for my Gen 3 PokeDex) in transit to me right now. An AMAZING Japanese exclusive and one of only four Gen 3 Pokemon to ever be featured with the WotC e-Series card frame. Also happens to feature fantastic art by my favorite artist, Nishida. Having it in PSA 10 is awesome and I’m extremely happy to add this to my collection.
Additionally, there is a sealed Japanese DP-era booster pack that features beautiful Dialga art. The last Pokemon video game I played was Diamond, so I have fond memories of Gen 4 and Dialga in particular. I’m just beginning to get into collecting Gen 4 cards and this is an awesome piece to add to my sealed collection. Also a very cool sealed Neo-era promo pack! Another item I didn’t yet have that I will add to my sealed collection .
And as if this wasn’t already more than generous enough, my secret santa also included a very cool diglett drawing and a Suicune-themed modern blister pack!
I had never opened modern product before today, and I’m not going to lie, it was very fun. Took me back to my childhood, weirdly enough. Being able to crack packs without spending hundreds of dollars a pack lol. A very fun experience. Didn’t pull anything too crazy, but cool to do nonetheless (plus it came with a beautiful Suicune pin!):

Overall, I can’t express how thankful I am for these gifts. Extraordinarily generous and thoughtful. Of everything included, I’m especially excited for the Gen 3 starter painting and the Wailmer! But everything included is fantastic and I couldn’t be happier. You nailed it, @boomersooner35!

Couldn’t be more grateful to my Secret Santa. Nothing feels more like the holidays than opening pokemon packs!
And getting some of my favourite cards thrown in there (TWO!!! reverse Marshtomps!!!) + two adorable drawings and a small letter…I opened the packs with my baby nephew (though he is only 11 months and only wanted to play with the pack wrappers) and got some very cool pulls!Thanks again!! First I saw this lovely Celebi illustration
Then, there was an evolutions blister, which I promptly opened, and got a great pull! And the greninja has a holo bleed too! Unfortunately it got dented from the blister, but is an awesome card nonetheless
Then finally, we have the singles. With the exception of the pikachu, I had no idea any of these existed. The Dutch pikachu and Pokémon day pikachu are fantastic and look great in my binder. The gym challenge gengar looks great as well. And finally, there is the Celebi. It’s a non holo European dvd exclusive that I had never seen, and I love the artwork. Thanks again @poketrade!

Huge thank you to @politoed666, for the amazing secret santa gift! It really did add some joy to my day and was a nice surprise to find in my incoming mail. Despite my love for Triumphant, I haven’t had an excuse as of late to pick up any sealed product. I will be keeping the pack sealed and un weighed for now 
. I think it will make a nice display. The Japanese cards were a fun addition as well. I think it’s fun to notice and appreciate some of the beautiful artwork on less talked about cards every once in a while. Thanks again and happy holidays!

My secret santa gift arrived today! Gifts were beautifully wrapped, I had tons of fun opening them, but it didn´t stop there. Included were some delicious candies that will most likely disappear in a couple of hours and japanese holos of two of my favorite Pokémon, Gengar and Nidoking. Didn´t have these in my collection yet, so a perfect fit for my japanese binder! Other than that a full blister art set of my favorite modern set, these will go into my sealed collection as they are super hard to come by in the EU. To round it off a great looking christmas card and Gengar drawing. A huge thank you to @bbqcat, you absolutely nailed it.

Big big thank you to @qwachansey for the amazing gifts and artwork. You really went above and beyond what I was expecting from my Secret Santa! The Tag Team cards are absolutely beautiful and I was needing most of the Shiny Star Vs for my set. The Blastoise Super Action toy will have a special place next to a Baby Yoda figure my girlfriend got me for Christmas.
Just… Wow. This is too much there’s even a sealed tag team box, vintage stickers and a PSA 10 Blastoise. I’m speechless.
P.S. I had to pay customs even if you marked it as gift so maybe next time put a lower value, but it was worth it I’m not complaining.

Received a foreign looking package from New Zealand and I was stoked to see that it was from me Efour SS!
Huge shout out and thanks to @gott006 for the drawing, hat and cards! The hat is hands down a one-way trip to Nostalgia City, it’s awesome.
I can’t thank you enough for the assortment of cards you sent as well. Each of them are new to my collection and the Pikachu promos are especially great. Thanks dude!

Today I collected my parcel from the post office as well.
Beforhand I was informed that there would be some custom fees and that santa would happily pay for those. THAT IS THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT PEOPLE! Starting of amazing even when the package had not yet arrived!
A few weeks after that I got a notice to collect a package from the post office and that I had to pay some import taxes. So I hopped in the car, got to the post office, payed the fees and received this HUGE parcel. was expecting something from Japan as well and guess what. It was my parcel from Japan. Then someone shouted from the back that there was another parcel (yes this really happened). So this other person came with a second large box (like large large). Had to pay for that as well so I did (figured it had to be secret santa as I never order anything from the U.S.).
When I got home I looked over the box and made some pictures. When I saw the postal charges my jaw dropped. Shipping is THAT expensive from the US to The Netherlands?!?!
So after that little story it’s finally time to show all of you the presents that I got from my Secret Santa @shockerb37 !
When I opened the parcel I found a fairly lage red item completely wrapped with bubblewrap.
Would you look at that! A big red box and also an enveloppe with the Efour logo on it (this confirmed it was indeed Secret Santa).
When I opened the enveloppe I was greeted by these adorable pins! LOVE them! And @shockerb37 enen cut out the card so the pins would fit! Amazing work there!
When I opened the card I was greeted by this awesome drawing.
When I opened the red box I was greeted by 2 coins, a plushie and 5 wrapped gifts. (Also had to include the letter!)
In the present with the grass energy I was greeted by these awesome cards. As you guys might have guessed, the Venusaur line is my favorite! These cards will find a nice spot in their respective binders (yes I do have a seperate binder for all 3 pokemon).
My second favorite pokemon is Ninetales, So my Secret Santa included these as well! Thank you so much, even though it’s my second favorite I don’t have many cards from him… I didn’t have any of these. Such cool cards!
In the package with the lightning energy I found some pikachu’s and a Pichu! Love Pikachu (who wouldn’t love that little mouse?!?). As I collect Japanese promo’s my Secret Santa included two promo pikachu’s, one sealed Meiji promo (which i didn’t have sealed yet, I have a ton of sealed meiji promo’s, amazing you picked out one that I didn’t have yet!) and the Sapporo’s pikachu, Which I did not have either. That one will go off to grading soon. Thank you so much!
After that I opened a present which included a mini tin, and a Bulbasaur at that! Great choice! I opened the tin and got decent pulls. LOVE that reverse Lugia and the Holo Tyranitar!
Then there was this adorable Venusaur plushie form the Pokemon Center (This is now actually the first plushie I own. It’ll get a good spot on the collection shelf!
I mentioned I love the ex era. The ex era was the first era in which I started collecting pokemon cards. This era is therefore my favorite of all time. I have great momories from that time. When I opened the last present I couldn’t believe my eyes! A PSA 9 Raichu ex! OH MY GOD, THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!
There was also a authographed card from my secret santa, I forgot to take a picture of it though… I requested one as I’d love to get some autograped cards from members of this community. @shockerb37 , your card will recieve a special place in the binder!
After I saw all these presents I feel so blessed that I could take part in this event. To see how much work you and everyone else put into this. It’s just stunning! And then those shipping prices, DAMN… The effort it took to do all this. absolutly stunning! Therefore I couldn’t ask for you to pay the import charges as well. I really appreciate the thought though!
