Home for the first time in nearly 4 months. Just had in the space of a week a few exams, a few interviews and also about 20 hours of traveling. Finally home and alas got round to opening up my secret Santa. All I can say is WOW! Before I spoil anything, can anyone help a not so tech savvy youngster how to upload an image to this from taking a photo on my camera? Still, such an amazing gift that’s been sitting un attended for nearly a month I think, I feel bad for not letting my sender know!
PS, I WILL get my secret Santa shipped by this Friday. It’s going to be a stretch for my recipient to get it before Christmas most likely as it is international during the holiday season but fingers crossed. I’ve just been extremely busy with academics, travelling and work.
Likely the photo on your camera will come out much too large. The forum limit for direct file upload is 1MB. To get under the 1 MB I just used my snip tool to take a screenshot of my camera image file. There probably is a better way to do it, but that is the way I went about it. Fairly easy. If the first screenshot is still too large, open that up and zoom out some to take a slightly smaller one. I can sense the cringes from the tech savvy folk at this suggestion of mine, but hey it works and results in a nice potato grade image. Then you just go the the reply page (as opposed to quick reply) and click the add attachment and grab your snip and insert it!
The better way is to insert an image link to your image that is hosted over at imgur or something similar. I am going to look into this soon and transition my whole collection thread and SS photo post over to that way as it results in much better photo quality. Good luck!
Upload the pics to imgur you don’t even need an account, I have uploaded monster size images and gifts much larger than 1mb with no prob

Mate, this gift is just so thoughtful and personal. It’s much more than what I could have hoped for. The stickers are amazing and my daughter already wants them (it’s very hard to tell her I want them all!)
