E4 Anaheim Worlds Meet UP 2025! UPDATE: DRAWING PRIZES

Door prize tickets for this year have just arrived:

Each ticket will have a sequential number in the lower right hand corner. You’ll be able to keep your ticket after the event as a memento as well!

I also wanted to extend a big thank you to everyone who has helped to donate door prizes for this year. It’s looking to be quite the haul so I hope a lot of you will be able to attend. A sneak peak of what additional prizes we’ll have in store:

A big thank you to @kranz with donating these!

Additionally, I wanted to say a hug thank you to all of you who have donated so far! To date we’ve been able to raise $530! Still looking to achieve our goal of $1500 with just a few weeks left, so if you are able to donate, please do!

I had a question. What should I bring?

Hey, Im working on a thing for the meetup but need someone who is local and will be attending the meetup that I can ship it to. Reach out if you are interested in helping for this.

There is no “expectation” to bring anything, however I notice a lot of people bring what they enjoy. Some people have really cool parts of their collection they like to bring (I usually bring a few cards I like each year, or have something unique about them).

I would say bring whatever you feel comfortable with. Be that unique cards or a binder or even sealed product you can rip with friends. Don’t have friends? You’ll make some here I promise.

I live near San Francisco if you would like to ship it to me, I can drive it down with me. I will be driving up the morning of Thursday August 14th. I dont know if that is local enough. But if you dont find anyone closer I am willing to drive it with me as long as it fits in a car. I realize car can really vary in sizes. I drive a Hyundai Kona. I dont know the year but I dont think they change sizes that much

I was speaking with Binx about the party, and they said that it would be good to bring phanpys because you guys trade cards and sign them. I’m bringing googly eyes too and 3 glue sticks. I wanted to stick them on my phanpy cards when i sign them, but i didnt want to pre-stick them on just in case people didnt want bumpy googly eyes in a binder or wherever you keep signed cards. I will also bring my phanpy collection! I’m just not sure what goes on at a party. I dont go to parties

are the googly eyes a bad idea

Thanks for being up for it. I was hoping someone more local to Orange County or Los Angeles to avoid people having to use much travel space for my novelties (itll be a small box, like 30cm x 30cm x 20cm maximum). There is some time before I need to send, even accounting for postal service delays, so I’ll wait to see if its easier for others first but if no one else, I’ll reach back out.

Good plan, it can be very inconvenient to have cards that dont fit in a binder…

But you should do you. Im not even going and Im sending a thing. Either people will like it or not but to each their own on it. Personally, I think sharing something that will make memories is way more fun than not doing it.

The googly eyes arrived, and I will say, I was not expecting them to be this… tall. Also glue sticks dont work. So if you have any commons you want googly eyes on, I will bring my tweezers and super glue. I will also bring some bulk. and some card savers so they at least have somewhere to go. I thought they would fit into top loaders. They do not. Well they kind of do but not nicely

@lyleberr I live in southern OC (about a half hour or so from the convention center) and I plan on being off work and at world’s related events from the 14th-17th, including the E4 meet-up. Happy to help with anything related to the meet-up if needed! :call_me_hand:t3:

I’ll be there doing a Worlds/Disneyland weekend. It will be my first Worlds event - Saturday spectator. Though I have dinner reservations with the wife at the parks during this meetup. Let me see if I can change that

Never been to the West Coast before and excited to be attending my first Worlds! I’ve frequented this forum for the extremely helpful info you share (especially with finishing my Yuka Morii master set, hope to post a thread on it soon!) and am excited to hang out!

**edit: thank you Iyleberr for pointing out my mistake, meant to put west, not east!

Good news @silversnorlax204… well maybe annoying news. My craft contribution has been shipped to Camrok and should be there with plenty of time for the get together. Its not a badge but hopefully they can be used.

I’m so sad not to be coming this year, but do just want to add on one more endorsement to attend if you’re thinking about it. I’ve only attended the past couple years, but it is so much fun to be around the like minded and wonderful people of E4 for a few hours. Worlds can feel a bit hectic at times, and this is a great opportunity to hang out. Even if you’re not very social, you can just sit down a bit and take it in, introduce yourself to a few people if you’re feeling like it. Maybe win an awesome prize

I will close with a meme that is actually very true here: Maybe the real collection is the friends we made along the way

That came across a bit more serial killer-y than planned, but you get the gist
