My recent return to the Pokemon TCG encouraged me to dig through my old card drawer and take stock of the stuff from other games I’d accrued when I was younger. This included some MTG, a lovely collection of Yu-Gi-Oh (which I’d share here if I knew where to put it), Neopets TCG (which I forgot even existed!) and some foil cards from Duel Masters, which surprised me. I’ve done some googling, but I’m still curious about what kind of following/collectors market there still is for Duel Masters, and whether they’re worth hanging onto for any reasons beyond the sentimental. Thanks!
duel masters is incredibly dead. They tried to re-release it as Kaijudo but that tanked as well. Overall It never had much of a following in the first place and I don’t see the cards ever being worth anything.
It was a cool tcg though, shame it wasn’t very popular.
So I gathered! And it is a shame. The cards look nice so I guess I will just keep them around.
I remember watching the show when it came out. Bolshak dragon is probably the most valuable card no? Seemed to never take off for whatever reason though.
In Norway Duel Masters was a big hit, but after like 1 year it just vanished. I have some of the old cards still but seems like they arnt worth anything now a days
