"Dengeki" Pichu

Happy new year everyone!

A new Neo Genesis Pichu variant was discovered last week (see https​://twitter.com/orokin/status/1344248021005942787, discussion: Neo Genesis Quilava Error Card?). Unfortunately despite having a pile of these none of them were the “Dengeki” version.

The “Dengeki” version is the one on the right. I believe its rarity will be on par with the other Neo Genesis corrected cards like Typhlosion, Quilava, Donphan and the Darkness Energy, so with that I’d like to make the following offers:

• $75 for the card in LP or lower
• $150 for the card in NM condition
• $500 for the card in PSA 10

The card on the right looks bigger from the angle of the picture. At first I thought that was the error lol

Just in case I’ve checked, but I’m afraid the Japanese Pichu I have is the one on the left as well. Consider this a free bump, though.

I have been searching and can’t find one anywhere! I did message a seller on Ebay about theirs, they had 3 in stock and the picture showed the version on the right and before they could message me back somebody bought all 3 of them I will be keeping an eye out for these cause you know I can’t get enough of these variants and unlimited things haha

I sent them a msg a couple days ago, they wouldn’t ship to me in the us. But maybe someone else here can help

So I spoke with the seller and they allowed me to buy it, however when I tried adding it to my cart it said it was no longer available. Reached out to the seller again and they’ve said that someone else has it in their cart but hasn’t paid for it yet. Gotta love how CardMarket works!

It’s no big deal if I miss this one, I think the condition its in means its €8 price tag is somewhat justified - it’s not quite what I had in mind for my $75 “LP or lower” offer that’s for sure!

@chizzycrusty these things happen, but it’s okay - can’t expect there not to be any competition on a public forum like this one.

The good news is that I’ve managed to add this card to my cart and pay for it now - I just have to hope now that the seller didn’t just have a stack of these all in similar condition and the one I receive isn’t the one pictured. Thank you very much again for linking it here.

Thanks, I was already the high bidder on that when you’d linked it but it seems I’ve been outbid now. The seller claims there’s damage on the back but I can’t really make out what it is from the pictures. Will be interesting to see what this one goes for.

I’d assume it’s the typical scratches you see on Japanese old backs. But yeah I really don’t know what exactly he’s talking about
