I recently graduated from grad school! I decided to treat myself to one of the best Mew cards currently available!
My most prized card in my collection so far.
Now I just need to get Championship Arena Mew and Victory Orb Mew (When I can save up enough money and if the opportunity arises!)
Thank you! Yes, the Mew is a Japanese exclusive. @smpratte has a really nice YouTube video going over the history of the card! I recommend you give it a watch. It is really interesting.
I actually did just watch that one and most of his. Idk why but I get excited learning more and more about the hobby and having little conversations on here and what not. Iām definitely extremely engaged and passionate in the hobby right now
I enjoy watching videos and interacting on E4. Iāve been feeling that way for about a year now. I also think people are getting more engaged with Pokemon right now due to the quarantine.
Hereās a quick update with a new card in my collection:
Fan Club Porygon Promo
I am still waiting on my first PSA returns results. I also sent in a few more cards to get graded, so hopefully I will get my first submission back before my second one returns.
Thanks! I think it might be one of the less popular Fan Club cards. Probably doesnāt have as much attention as the Fan Club Eevee or Shining Magikarp.
Yeah the exclusive artwork is really where itās at, didnāt appreciate it at first because it didnāt hit me like the nostalgic first few english sets.
That is understandable. I really like exclusive Japanese cards/products because I feel like I am experiencing what it must have been like to collect Pokemon as a kid in Japan in the 90s.
@deltazero I come to think the market follows our recent purchases haha but I know thatās not the case. Nothing wrong with giving people some buying ideas but its still going to be awhile before I get into Japanese exclusives and promos. Still catching up on other sets for now
