I think this is more true than you think. There’s a lot of people on this forum and then they go out and show their new cards off on instagram, gaining even more momentum.

Hello everyone who follows my collection! I am here with some long overdue updates on graded cards. I still have loads of ungraded cards that desperately need grading but cannot get graded quite yet for reasons we are all familiar with.
Some cards have already been posted here, but I am trying to organize how I post parts of my collection.
First, the Mew Collection:
I recently added the Mew from Secret Wonders! It is really hard to see, but this is a holo bleed version. I know that there are many Secret Wonders holos with the holobleed.
The Mew Ex from Holon Phantoms is a card I graded myself! I also pulled this card myself.
I am amazed by how much the Cardass Mew has gone up in price-especially the PSA 9.
I bought the Mew Gold Star well before the boom. I am so glad it came back a 9.
Some “oldies but goodies” in my collection:
I recognize that I am still missing a bunch of mew cards. Delta species mew, Expedition Mew, many modern Mews, etc. I am not sure that I will collect every Mew card ever, but I do know I would love an Expedition Mew Holo. I might have to get it in an 8, but we will see. Of courses, there are some Trophy Mew Cards that are going to take a while for me to get-I hope I manage to do it one day!

Assorted Pikachu Collection:
Who doesn’t love Pikachu cards? I still have to grade my Mario and Luigi Pikachus, my Team Skull Pikachus, and my full art Shiny Rayquaza Pretend Pikachu cards. I hope to get a somewhat higher grade Gold Star Pikachu in the future.
I bought these Victory Medal Pikachus and suddenly everyone wanted one. Before 2020 you could pick almost any card up and it would have appreciated in value.
The centering on the PokePark Pikachu is, in my opinion, bad. I think this card should have been a 9.

Almost Complete Sets:
I am really proud of having been able to collect almost all of the Masaki Holo cards in PSA 8. I just need the dang Gengar!!! My favorite cards from this set are the Golem, Omastar, and Alakazam cards because they do not have an English counterpart. I hope to get the GENGAR by the end of this year/early next year. Also, I picked up the Machamp for a STEAL on PWCC. Everyone seemed to be overlooking the Masaki Promos that auction.
I kind of consider this trio of holo birds from the Red/Green Quick Starter set to be somewhat complete. I am still debating picking up the Master Ball and the Scyther so I have all of the holos.
I love the Play Promo cards. I tried my best to start from the top (excluding Play Umbreon and Espeon) and it has worked out pretty well so far. These don’t look like much, but I will ultimately have a more complete set.
I also want to mention that I traded an extra Japanese Shiny Charizard Vmax for the Celebi and these two Regis. The person I traded with was ADAMANT about doing this trade. I think I got the better end of the deal.
Here are my favorite unlimited Shining Pokemon minus Magikarp. I would love to have these in first edition and in decently high grades. The Mewtwo is from my childhood collection-I rescued it from a 3 ring binder. The Shining Charizard was a raw card I bought (pre-boom) and the person who sold it to me said I could expect a PSA 7, but it definitely looked better than that when I got it in the mail. Both the Mewtwo and Charizard were graded by me!

Holy cow @deltazero! Amazing cards! One hell of an update. You are cultivated a beautiful slab collection of some amazing sets of cohesion. Glad to see the (mostly) up to speed update.
Several things to say…
The Mew collection is stellar now that it is assembled together, plus a few new additions it looks like!
If you decide to get the Master Ball and Scyther, you won’t regret it, I would imagine 
Did we wind up getting a result on your Pory grade? Would love to see a pic of it, no matter the grade

Yes, the mew collection had some brilliant additions. Three of the additions were from my PSA submission from over a year ago. I am very pleased with the grades from that submission.
I agree. I love the Red/Green Quick Starter set and I think that a complete holo set would be ideal if I ever choose to sell it in the future. Also, the Scyther is so cool!!
Unfortunately, I have not graded the Porygon yet. I am saving up some money to submit the Porygon along with other higher end cards. It will be expensive, but I hope to get that out to PSA by the end of this year/first half of next year.

Thank you! I was missing the Articuno for what seemed like a long time. I haven’t checked recently, but when I was last looking it was very difficult to find eBay listings of all three birds. Fortunately a member on E4 helped me finish the trio!

I took a brief hiatus from Pokémon card related activities due to some big life events: new job, getting married, and adopting a second cat. I also wanted to have more savings for emergencies. Prior to my hiatus, I went into a short period of collecting experimentation.
Here is my story (this will likely be over a few posts):
PWCC and eBay broke up and PWCC started auctioning, selling, etc. Pokémon cards. I took advantage of the opportunity during the transition period…at least I tried (cries in being too cheap to win the Mysterious Pearl PSA 9). I got some random cards at somewhat decent prices.
Not bad. A little all over the place, but definitely in my wheelhouse.
I finally finished the Team Rocket Legendary Dogs VS series trio!
