Current smpratte patrons experience/satisfaction

Hey collectors/investors, I’ve been on the fence about becoming an smpratte patron, also debating which tier to go for. I would love to hear from current patrons on their experience and overall level of satisfaction. If you want to send me dm, I’d like to discuss it in detail with a current patron.
Thank you

Just join the Discord, practically the same thing but the best part is ITS FREE!

Edit: this is a joke lol

I’m a Patron and I like being able to ask him questions and he always answers. Whats the discord link?

It’s in my sig.

I would recommend a tier with the one-on-one session if you are going to do it. The value is not so much in the answers to your questions but that you’ve networked with one of the most recognized people in the hobby

The Discord Invite Link is right in the sidebar. Informative, great discussion, but lots of nonsense and occasional drama  .

I’ve been a Patreon for several months now and think it’s wonderful. If you enjoy his weekly videos and find value in them, then spending $10 monthly is totally worth it (and the level I’m at).

The exclusive videos are typically 30 minutes and are released at the start of the month. These have a lot more detail and insight than the public ones.

If you are looking for a little more personalized info and want him to answer your questions directly or even do a phone consultation, then the higher tiers would be for you.

I’m at the $10/month level and it’s hands down the best $10 you can spend in this hobby. He’s giving away “a million dollars of game for $9.99”.

$10 patron here.

I would credit Scott’s patreon for helping me mature significantly as a collector.

Spend $10 and you can watch all the monthly videos and if you feel it’s worth your money you can continue paying each month or even upgrade if you feel there’s more value to be had. Kinda hard for it not to be worth one $10 payment.

$10 doesn’t buy you much nowadays - unless you’re an smpratte patreon member

I highly enjoy his patreon. I was a $30 patreon subscriber until I had to take time away from my hobbies to deal with family stuff. I’m just getting back into the swing of things but limited it to the $10 patreon so I could still watch the videos and contact him if I needed. I did speak to him on the phone, along with special guest Gary that day, which made it all worth it to me. Try it out and if you don’t like it then unsubscribe. For me it’s very helpful to grasp all the information in a condensed form that I can understand. One of the best decisions I made being new to the hobby.

You could spend $10 on a Red’s Pikachu, a Waffle, or SMPratte’s Patreon. Knowledge is power.

I’m over twice smpratte’s age.
I’ve been deep in the hobby nearly twice as long too.
I’m too humble to say I’m twice as smart;)

Considering all that, even I get a ton of valuable information from Scott.
If you like money, dive into Smpratte’s patreon.

I’ve been a patron for a little over a year I think? I know I took a 1-2 month hiatus when I moved for a job,but that was just because I knew I wouldn’t have time to watch and my budget was strict during that time. As soon as I was able I signed back up. His insight and experience in the hobby is invaluable. Whenever I’ve had a question (or wanted to brag about a deal I made ) he’s gotten back to me within hours, and has always been a pleasure to talk to. As long as he has his Patreon up, I will continue to support him.

I’ve been a $10.00 / Month Patreon Member with Scott since Jan. 2018! If I recall correctly, that’s when he originally started-up with Patreon (think I may have been one of the OG subscribers). Scott, you’re welcome for the FREE $150.00!!! Haha No, JK! There’s no doubt that Scott has THE BEST Pokemon Content on YouTube! Although, Rusty has recently started to make a come-back with his YouTube Channel!

Anyway, Patreon Membership definitely has some good benefits! The Monthly Patreon Exclusive Video was the best move Scott could have made - I really enjoy those videos! They’re always roughly 30 Min. Videos where Scott discusses “Monthly News” for Pokemon - discusses a bit of everything within those videos. And, if you’re interested in e-mailing / calling to discuss anything Pokemon, those higher-tier levels are PERFECT! He really does provide a comprehensive response to anything you may ask!

However, I don’t view Patreon as: What am I getting-out of that $10.00 / Month? Instead, I view Patreon as “giving back” to someone who is supporting our hobby and educating new collectors so that the hobby continues to grow and prosper! I really don’t know anything about creating YouTube Content; however, I can imagine that it does take a good deal of time to put-out quality videos like that every week. It may sound harsh for some, but the old “time is money” saying really does apply when you’re running your own business! There’s only so much time in one day - and only so much time you can spend on the business-side of things. If $10.00 / Month can help someone enough where they continue putting-out quality videos to promote our hobby, that’s good enough for me!

Why has no one called it Prattreon in this thread?

Is the $10 tier a reoccurring automatic monthly payment you have to opt out of? And does it unlock access to all of his previous videos or just new videos after you join?

It unlocks access to all of his previous videos, as well. I just joined the $10 tier today and I must say I’m kicking myself for not joining earlier. Scott is super transparent in these videos and really doesn’t hold back in divulging both insider news/facts as well as his outlook/opinions.
