I saw someone selling a base raichu unlimited for $10,000. Even put “serious buyers only” in the description. I think they heard about prerelease racihu and just had no knowledge of pokemon. I see stuff like this commonly

I could write a book on my experience with Craigslist garbage haha… beyond pokemon too. Almost everything I own has come from craigslist! Often times it takes several different listings to get a decent human being and subsequently to get the good things. That goes for Buying and selling!

The problem is that eBay has ~90% legitimate listings with ~10% garbage listings thrown on top. That’s why it’s interesting to see eBay garbage. On the other hand, Craigslist is 90% garbage with 10% legitimate listings thrown on top.
A “Craigslist Garbage” thread could just consist of one post: a link to Craigslist, which itself is just a garbage dump with price tags.
And while we’re at it, we can throw in letgo, offerup, and mercari as well: those are the sewage and toxic waste dumps.

I remember that one video gary was in for an interview and one of the other pokemon card “experts” talked about how he got a 1st ed machamp for $5 in a sketchy alleyway and it was actually worth $3000 lol.

@genchiro, lol thank you. I enjoy posts like this for a good laugh and I know Craigslist is just a big joke but I still need this in my life. Don’t get me started on the old dating ads on Craigslist.
